Remember, remember ...

An invitation to a Guy Fawkes Night party. A design first made as a lino print then re-worked in Photoshop. A bright and vibrant postcard invitation printed, this time, on glossy card stock by Moo. The reverse side is blank. The scarlet red is a great flash of colour for a celebration in November when those long dark nights are drawing in.

Remember, remember,
the 5th of Novemeber.
Gun powder, treason, and plot.
I see no reason
why Gun Powder Treason
should ever be forgot!

Roll up ladies!

Some invitations to a ladies evening event. The evening was to be a relaxed and enjoyable affair, which is reflected in the design. This was hand drawn in ink, scanned, and colour added in Photoshop. It was the printed by Vistaprint on matt recycled card stock. This time there was more information printed on the reverse - this too was initially hand written. An invitation with a touch of class.

A Little Birdy Told Me ...

These are some change of address cards from a little while ago. The design was hand drawn in pencil, scanned in and then colour was added in Photoshop. They are postcard sized and blank on the reverse for a personal message to the recipient; easily slotted in to a standard sized envelope. They were printed on matt recycled card stock by Vistaprint, and were really well received.

Summer Party Invitations

Some photos now of the invitations that were made for a Family Celebration - the same celebration that the previous post's Thank You cards were made for. As with the Thank You cards, these invitations were ink jet printed. The text was first handwritten and then scanned in to the computer. After printing it on top of the colourful image it was then re-traced by hand using black ink, making it slightly glossy. The inside information was handwritten, scanned and then ink jet printed. It was then hand folded and glued into the card. The invitation measures
11 x 10.5 cm; so very slightly wider than the Thank You's to incorporate the folded inside sheet neatly. The whole thing was kept together with a bright piece of blue yarn. A fun, summery and enticing Invitation. Who wouldn't want to attend?

Thank You Cards

These are Thank You cards my mum wanted me to make. They tie in with the original Invitations for a family and friends summer party that I also made, which will be posted at some point. The colourful design was hand drawn using colour pencils, scanned in and then Inkjet printed with the Thank You then handwritten by me using black ink. The cards measured 10.5 x 10.5 cm. A bright and cheerful note to thank people for coming ( from far and wide) and celebrating some important dates with our family.
